RinggitPlus Credit Card Sign-Up Promotion with TrueMoney

Terms and Conditions

The "RinggitPlus Credit Card Sign-Up Promotion with TrueMoney" ("Promotion") is organised by Jirnexu Sdn Bhd (Registration No. 1081989-D), hereinafter referred to as "The Organiser".

  1. Promotion Period
    This Promotion will run from 18th December 2023 (starting at 11:00 AM) until 18th March 2024 (ending at 11:00 AM), both dates inclusive, unless otherwise notified ("Promotion Period"). The Organiser reserves the right to end the Promotion earlier than 18th March 2024 (11:00 AM), and applications received after the Promotion ends will not be considered.
  2. Eligibility
    The Promotion is open to applicants who meet the following criteria:
    1. 2.1Applicants must be at least 21 years old and possess a valid Malaysia Identification Card (MyKad).
    2. 2.2Applicants must successfully register their interest for one of the eligible credit cards ("Eligible Cards") issued by RHB Bank Berhad ("Bank") through the Organiser's website (ringgitplus.com) during the Promotion Period.
    3. 2.3Applicants must be approved for, receive, activate, and use an Eligible Card (Clause 3) to make a minimum of one (1) retail transaction as a principal cardholder within sixty (60) calendar days from the date of Credit Card approval ("Retail Spend"). There are no minimum purchase amount requirements for the transaction.

  4. Ineligible Applicants
    1. 4.1The following categories of applicants are NOT eligible to participate in this Promotion:
      1. 4.1.1Permanent and/or contract employees of RHB Bank Berhad and Jirnexu Sdn Bhd (including subsidiaries and related companies) and their respective immediate family members;
      2. 4.1.2Representatives and/or agents (including advertising and campaign agents) of RHB Bank Berhad and their respective immediate family members; Permanent and contract employees of RHB Bank Berhad and Jirnexu Sdn Bhd;
      3. 4.1.3Any applicant who has committed or suspected of committing any misconduct, fraudulent or wrongful acts in relation to their Card account(s), any facility, service, or accommodation granted by RHB Bank Berhad at any time;
      4. 4.1.4Principal cardholder(s) who hold an existing RHB Bank credit card;
      5. 4.1.5Cardholder(s) who have cancelled RHB Bank Credit Card(s) within twelve (12) months prior to the date of application for the Campaign.
  5. Application Review
    1. 5.1 Applicants must download the TrueMoney mobile application via Apple App Store or Google Play Store and subsequently successfully register for an account.
    2. 5.2 Applicants must complete the identity verification (e-KYC) process on the TrueMoney mobile application to successfully register for an account.
    3. 5.3 Applicants must use the same mobile number for the TrueMoney account registration and RinggitPlus credit card application for gift fulfilment purposes.
    4. 5.4 Applicants must apply for an Eligible Card with one of the following methods:
      1. 5.4.1 TrueMoney’s affiliate page on RinggitPlus
      2. 5.4.2 TrueMoney’s mobile application downloaded via Google Play Store or App Store
      3. 5.4.3 TrueMoney’s website
    5. 5.5 Applicants must provide clear images of both the front and back of their Identity Card (MyKad) during the application process via the Organiser's website and chatbot. The Organiser reserves the right to approve or reject applications submitted on the website without providing a specific reason.
  6. Promotion Gift Categories
    1. 6.1Applicants who have completed their online application for Eligible Cards within the Promotion Period and have met the eligibility criteria outlined in Clause 2 shall be referred to as “Qualified Applicants”.
    2. 6.2Qualified Applicants shall be entitled to receive a Promotion Gift.
    3. 6.3"Premium Gift" refers to the limited Promotion Gift with a higher value.
    4. 6.4"Guaranteed Gift" refers to a standard Promotion Gift, which is provided to qualified applicants who are not selected to receive the Premium Gift.
    5. 6.5Promotion Gift categories and its criteria are stated in the table below:

      • Four (4) Qualified Applicants will be randomly selected per month to receive the Premium Gift, based on RHB Bank’s monthly report of the Qualified Applicants List
      • The random selection is based on the list of Qualified Applicants provided by RHB Bank Berhad
      • Capped at twelve (12) units
      Guaranteed Gift RM300 TrueMoney e-Wallet Credits
      • Guaranteed to qualified applicants who are not selected to receive the Premium Gift
    6. 6.6Each Qualified Applicant is eligible for only one (1) Promotion Gift regardless of the number of Eligible Credit Cards the applicant receives during the Promotion Period
    7. 6.7Qualified Applicants are determined based on the date and time of their online application for the Eligible Cards from RHB Bank Berhad via the RinggitPlus website, ringgitplus.com.
  7. Selection Process
    1. 7.1The Organiser will select the recipients of the Gift Categories based on the criteria stated in Clause 6.6.
    2. 7.2Once the applicant completes one (1) retail transaction, RHB Bank Berhad may take up to sixty (60) days to update the list of Qualified Applicants (“Qualified Applicants List”). The bank will then deliver this list periodically to The Organiser.
    3. 7.3The Organiser will notify the affiliate (TrueMoney) for gift fulfilment upon receiving the updated Qualified Applicants List from RHB Bank Berhad.
  8. Gift Fulfilment
    1. 8.1TrueMoney will be responsible for the Promotion Gift Fulfilment.
    2. 8.2The Promotion Gift will be transferred to each Qualified Applicants’ TrueMoney Account via the registered mobile number provided during application.
    3. 8.3TrueMoney will credit the e-wallet credits upon confirmation from RHB Bank of the applicant’s application approval status.
    4. 8.4Promotion Gifts are subject to availability. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the Organiser reserves the right to substitute alternative gifts of equivalent or greater value with no notice.
    5. 8.5Promotion Gifts cannot be transferred to other parties, are not refundable and not exchangeable for cash, credit, or other goods.
    6. 8.6It is the Qualified Applicant’s responsibility to claim their Promotion Gift from the Organiser before 19th September 2024 (“Claim Period”). The Organiser reserves the right not to entertain any claim received outside the Claim Period.
  9. Definitions of Retail Spend
    1. 9.1“Retail Spend” refers to eligible transactions that include all retail transactions including local and overseas retail spending and e-wallet top-up.
    2. 9.2The following transactions are not classified as Eligible Transactions:
      • Cash Advance & Quasi Cash
      • Instalments paid for the 0% Instalment Plan
      • Balance transfer transactions
      • Easy cash & the instalments paid transactions
      • Instalments paid for Dial-An-Instalment programme
      • Refunds
      • Disputed, unauthorised or fraudulent retail transactions
      • Payment of annual fee on the annual fees
      • Interest or Management Fee payments
      • Late payment charges, charges for cash withdrawals and any other form of service/miscellaneous fees
      • Charity and government related transactions with merchant category codes (MCC) below:

  10. Organiser's Discretion and Promotion Changes

    Only applicants who fulfil the RinggitPlus Credit Card Sign-Up Promotion with TrueMoney Terms and Conditions shall be eligible for a Promotion Gift. The Organiser reserves the right to disqualify applicants who have failed to fulfil the Promotion Terms and Conditions and/or who have submitted incomplete or inaccurate data, without prior notice. The Organiser reserves the right to change the Promotion Period at any time. If the Promotion Period is revised, the number of gifts will be prorated according to the Promotion’s revised duration.

  11. Use of Personal Data

    By applying at ringgitplus.com, all applicants consent to the use of their personal data by the Organiser for the purposes of the administration of this offer and any other purposes to which the entrant has consented, such as the Terms and Conditions, Personal Data and Information Notice, and Privacy Policy published at ringgitplus.com

  12. Acceptance of Terms and Conditions

    By accepting the offer, each applicant agrees to be bound by these terms and conditions, including the terms and conditions of the TrueMoney mobile application:

    1. 12.1The Organiser reserves the right to cancel, terminate or suspend the Promotion without notice. Any cancellation, termination or suspension of the Promotion by The Organiser shall not entitle the applicant to any claim or compensation against The Organiser for any loss or damage incurred by the applicant as a direct and indirect result of such cancellation, termination or suspension;
    2. 12.2The decisions of the Organiser in relation to every aspect of the Promotion, including but not limited to the type of Promotion Gift, shall be deemed final and conclusive under any circumstance and no complaint from any applicant will be entertained. The decisions of The Organiser are final, conclusive, and binding and no further appeal, enquiry and/or correspondence will be entertained;
    3. 12.3 The terms and conditions herein contained shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia.
